Michael Wilson received his MFA from Yale University in 1999. He is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work in video, sculpture and new media has focused on re-imagining 'apocalyptic' ideologies, contexts and systems. He has exhibited his work widely, including the Rotterdam Film Festival, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Ars Electronica, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, RealArtWays and the Kunsthalle Dusseldorf.

As a member of the noted Los Angeles new media collaborative C-level, he co-created the video game Waco Resurrection. In 2006, he completed the 3D interactive simulation MediaBlackout. His most recent project is a feature-length experimental documentary on the mainstreaming of American apocalyptic militarism.
