Hilja Keading's videos and video installations have been exhibited nationally and internationally since 1989. Her work investigates the psychology performance, the formation of Self, and the interplay between individual and collective consciousness while considering the parallels between comedy and tragedy. She is the recipient of several awards and grants including an NEA, C.O.L.A., Teseque Foundation Grant, and others. Hilja lives and works in Los Angeles.
